gnome-session-canberra software package provides GNOME session log in and log out sound events, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-session-canberra
gnome-session-canberra is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-session-canberra package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-session-canberra *
You will get with gnome-session-canberra package name, version, architecture and description in a table
